After use, always clean the mower, particularly the engine’s cooling fins. Being exposed to clippings,
deposits will easily attach and cause engine heating with risk of fire.
Remove clippings or other deposits from the engine cooling fins with a brush. If there is any persistent
dirt, wash with water and dry after wiping out all water.
Cleaning of Lawn Mower Body
After each use, clean the engine cooling fins to
remove dust and deposit between the fins.
Otherwise, it might cause engine heating and
cause fire in the machine.
Clean after making sure of the engine’s having
cooled down.
Do not wash the cooling fins or muffler
(silencer) on the engine with water. If it were
left wet and became heated it might cause
deformation or cracking.
IMPORTANT
Air Cleaner Cleaning
Clean the air cleaner every 50 hours of operation.
If there is any deformation in the air cleaner element or clogging, order a replacement from our
business or sales office.
Pull down the attachment section on the lower end of
the air cleaner cover to remove it.
Take out the element and wash with kerosene or neutral
detergent for domestic use. Then, dry and dip it in the
engine oil. Squeeze the element well and attach it.
Remove any dust from the element by means of tapping
on a level place, or spray compressed air from inside
(engine side when it is attached) to blow the dust away.
Return the cleaned element to its original position and
attach the air cleaner cover.
