Operation
Engine Start-up and Shut-down (with the self-starter)
Only start the engine out of doors.
Before starting the engine, make sure that
neither the main clutch nor the reel blade
clutch is engaged.
Start up the engine at least 5 meters far
away from a fuelling area.
Always attach the bucket before the engine
is started.
Before starting the engine, make sure that
there is nobody within 5 m of the front and 3
m of the left, right and rear of the lawn mower.
Only start the engine when you have fully
understood how to stop it.

Before starting the engine, make sure that both the main
clutch lever and reel blade clutch lever are in their stop
positions.
Attach the bucket, and make sure there is nobody within
5 m of the front and 3 m of the left, right, and rear of the
lawn mower.
Turn the fuel cock clockwise to open.
Turn the choke lever to close the choke.
After the engine has been started, it is not necessary to
close the choke when restarting after it has been stopped.
DANGER
