Press the screw end of the mowing height gauge against
the front and rear rollers and turn the front roller height
adjusting knobs so that the underneath of the screw head
on the center of the gauge is aligned with the lower
surface of the bed knife.
When the front roller height adjusting knob is turned
clockwise, the roller is lowered. When it is turned
counterclockwise, the front roller is lifted.
Adjust the height on the left and right sides and, when
the specified height of the bed knife has been decided,
fasten the nut securely in order to fix the height of the
front roller.
Loosen the set screws for the working roller height
adjusting knob (on the left and right).
Press the cutting height gauge against the contact point
of the front roller with the ground, and the rear roller,
and turn the working roller height adjusting knob so that
the projected end of the screw corresponds with the end
of the working roller.
When the working roller height adjusting knob is turned
clockwise, the working roller is lowered, when it is turned
counter-clockwise, the roller is raised.
Adjust the height on both the left and right. When the
working roller height is set to the specified height, fasten
the set screws to fix the working roller.

If the working roller is not to be used then it is possible to
lift its position by 5mm.
Loosen the set screws on the left and right and half turn
the working roller knob, and set it to the non-use position.
Adjust the height of the working roller as shown in the
figure in “Use of Working Roller”.
