System Mapping
You can check the IRQ (interrupt request), I/O (input/output) port address, DMA
(direct memory access), and memory usage, as follows:
1.
From the Start menu, select Settings Control Panel.
2.
Double-click the System icon.
3.
Select the Device Manager tab.
4.
Click Properties.
5.
Click the item you want to check.
To Open
When using a device that needs an IRQ, you may have to open the IRQ assigned to
the modem, the RS-232C serial port, or the infrared port.
To Open
(COM2)
1.
Turn on the notebook.
2.
When
to enter System Configuration Utility appears, press F2.
3.
In the Advanced menu, set
