Power Management
The power management saves electricity and extends battery life by controlling
power supply to built-in devices. In power management are the following four
modes:

Idle mode
•
Stand-by mode
•
Suspend-to-RAM mode
•
Suspend-to-disk mode
Switching to Each Mode
If you do not input any data through the keyboard or GlidePoint, your system enters
a power management mode, depending on the duration of no operation. You can set
the period when the system switches to the next mode (except entering the idle
mode) in the Setup Utility.

Suspend-to-RAM Mode
Suspend-to-disk Mode
If you have set each time to
Disabled
, the power management does not
switch to the next mode.
