HOW TO USE THE FAX FUNCTION

Press the  FAX START key.
Transmission will begin.

Broadcasting using a Group key

If the fax machines to which you want to broadcast have all been programmed into one
Group key, you can perform the broadcasting operation using the following simplified
procedure. Refer to “Storing Numbers Under Group Keys” in Chapter 2.

Place the document face up and
push it gently into the document
feeder tray.

• Adjust the resolution and/or contrast

settings if desired.

Press the appropriate Group key.
Transmission will begin.

If the memory becomes full while the
document is being scanned,
“MEMORY FULL” will appear in the
display.

• Press the FAX START key to

transmit the pages that have been
stored up to that point in memory.

• Press the STOP key to cancel the

entire transmission.
