Mechanical installation

Retrofitting (option /F.A) or modifying (option /F.B) motor feet

Operating Instructions – EDR..71 – 315, EDRN63 – 315

3. Remove the paint from the contact surfaces of the stator [16] where the feet are to

be screwed on.

Sizes 250 – 280: 8 surfaces

Size 315: 12 surfaces

4. Apply a thin layer of corrosion protection to the unpainted contact surfaces.

5. Remove the paint from the contact surfaces of the feet [90].

6. Apply a thin layer of corrosion protection to the contact surfaces of the feet.

7. Attach the feet [90] to the motor using the screws [94] and washers [93]. The

screws are micro-encapsulated. This is why you have to screw in and tighten the
screws quickly.

8. Apply paint or corrosion protection at the parting line after attaching the feet [90].
