Fault symptom Recommended actions
The
analyser display is blank or is too
dark.
Check that the ambient temperature is within the valid
analyser opera�ng temperature range: refer to Sec�on
2.2.
Check that the display contrast adjustment has been
correctly set (refer to Sec�on 5.11), and has not been
altered.
The
measurement alarms are ac�va�ng
more o�en than expected.
Check that the analyser is not being knocked, moved, or
subjected to high levels of vibra�on during sample
measurements.
Check that the alarm modes, alarm levels and hysteresis
levels have been correctly set: refer to Sec�on 5.20.
The mA output is at 0 or 21.5 mA.
If you have configured the milliamp output to jam high
or jam low, check whether a fault condi�on exists (see
Sec�on 5.16). Otherwise, contact Servomex or your local
Servomex agent for assistance.
The mA output is not as expected.
Ensure
that the electrical cabling connected to the
analyser is not open circuit.
Check that the milliamp output is calibrated correctly
(see Sec�on 5.16.4).
Check that you have selected the correct Range (see
Sec�on 5.16.3).
A relay signal output is not as expected.
Check that the signal cable is correctly connecte
d to the
analyser: refer to Sec�on 5.3.3, Sec�on 5.3.4
