Tip:
To quickly lock and unlock the keypad, press and hold (2 seconds)
the

(star) key.
If you press any other key while the keypad is locked no action is taken. The
Navi-knob
remains unlocked when the keypad lock is enabled. A message is
displayed to remind you that the keypad is locked.
Alternatively, you can:
1. Select
Menu > Options > Settings > Keypad Lock
.
2. Press
Lock
to lock the keypad.
Setting the radio to automatically lock the keypad
You can set the radio to automatically lock the keypad after a period of
inactivity.
1. Select
Menu > Options > Settings > Timed Keypad Lock
.
2. Press
Toggle
to enable/disable auto keypad lock.
