The control software reports
that the mass spectrometer is
in Fault status because of the
ion source. 1. The probe is not installed.
2. The probe is not
connected securely.
Confirm the fault in the Status
panel of the device details

retaining ring securely.

The roughing pump is too hot
to touch. The roughing pump filter trap

The spray is not uniform. The electrode is blocked. Clean or replace the
electrode. Refer to the
