7.21.4 Hydraulic connections for
controlling the snow plough
DANGER
When the hydraulic couplings are connected,
pressurised hydraulic oil, which may also be hot,
can squirt out and could cause serious injury.
Depressurise the hydraulic couplings completely
before connecting the hydraulic system and wear
gloves when connecting the hydraulic couplings.
DANGER
Actuator components for the hydraulic valves
in the driver's cab must match the functions of
the snow plough with regard to the individual
functions and switching directions. Accordingly,
the hydraulic hoses and their connection
labelling must match the hydraulic couplings on
the vehicle. Incorrect assignment of the hydraulic
connections to the control unit will result in
incorrect operation of the snow plough, which
in turn can cause serious accidents and injuries.
7.21.5 Front hydraulic connections
For example, connecting a snow plough or front-
mounted sweeper
Connection (1):
Raising
Connection (2):
Lowering
Connection (3):
Pivot to the left
Connection (4):
Pivot to the right
e.g. connecting a front-mounted sweeper
Connection (
