5.14 Establishing equipotential bonding

The equipotential bonding consists of an electrically-conductive connection from the suction cup via
the operator handle, lift tube, rotary union, vacuum supply hose, vacuum generator and crane system
to the customer-supplied connection point for equipotential bonding. Additional grounding wires should
be installed on all moving parts.

Insufficient grounding

Risk of explosion

Grounding connections must be checked regularly to ensure explosion
protection.

All grounding wires for equipotential bonding must be provided with a green and yellow
cable. Minimum cross section 4 mm².
