How are IP clocks controlled?
IP clocks are independent and receive their time from a NTP/(S)NTP server.
If a setting is adjusted using the Monitor program, does it effect only the selected clock or the entire system?
The IP clock series has the capability to allow the user to adjust the settings to an individual clock or apply those settings to the entire system.
How many PoE injectors do I need?
Each clock needs an PoE injector. However, there are many multi-port PoE switches/routers that are available.
What type of cable do I use for powering and synchronizing the clocks?
The typical cable used is CAT5e or CAT6.
Can I use any NTP/(S)NTP server for downloading the time?
Yes, any site that sends out the NTP/(S)NTP protocol may be used as an input to the IP clock.
How do I put my clocks in 24 hour mode?
On the web interface, under Display Options, select the Display Format drop down and select 24 hour. Then click submit.
What is the default password to enter into the web interface?
The default password is 6063.
