These products must be stored in approved and grounded containers.
Use only grounded metal pails for the use of rinsing solvents.
Cardboard and paper are to be banned. Indeed they are very bad
conductors, even insulators.
The canisters of products and cleaners must be grounded, via the
grounding cable, using clamps or any other means of attachment.
The parts to be painted are hung or placed by means of grounded
hooks or supports and kept clean at all times, in order to always
guarantee a good conductivity to the ground.
All insulation (cardboard, paper, plastic materials) must be kept to a
minimum in the work area.
Ground continuity must be checked by a qualified electrician.
Never operate the equipment without first ensuring that all the above
provisions are met.
Pressure
The use of pressurized air and products (paints or solvents) presents risks
for the user and the equipment.
Never exceed the maximum working pressures of equipment,
components and accessories.
It is imperative to follow the procedures for decompression, shutdown
and logging of pressure energies, elimination of residual energies and
purging of fluids, for any cleaning, inspection, maintenance of the
equipment.
