7. Faults and fault rectification
Check any faults in the appliance against the following table:
Fault Possible cause Action
The mains indi­
cator light does
not illuminate af­
ter switching on.
Main switch in building not
switched on before switching
on the appliance. Turn on main switch.
There is no power supply at
all. Inform the power supply company.
Mains fuse on site has
tripped. Possible faults on the appliance must
be checked by an authorised Customer
Service agent.
Reset the circuit breaker.
The appliance is
switched on but
does not heat
up. An upstream energy optimis­
ing unit has not switched on
the heating. Check the energy optimising unit.
The safety temperature limiter
has tripped. Possible faults on the appliance must
be checked by an authorised Customer
Service agent.
If you cannot remedy the fault,
‒ switch off the appliance and disconnect from the mains,
‒ do not open the housing,
‒ Contact customer service.
