5.1.6 Alarm Management Commands
To manage alarms in command prompt, the commands are as follows:
Alarm management commands
Command
Description
Log show
[
<start line>
]
The management controller maintains event log, - events
include configuration changes, management controller
restarts, and local site alarm changes.
The “
log show
” or “
log
” commands display the latest 20 log
entries, the log entries are numbered, - entry with the largest
number is the latest event. The “log show” command can be
followed up with an entry number to display the latest 20
entries beginning from the entry specified by the number,
e.g., “
log show 100
” will display entries 100…120.
Log filter
<alarm ID> [<num>]
Filters event list by specific alarm ID. <start line> ; works
similarly to „log show‟ command.
Log file
<file name>
Makes event log file with specified filename.
Alarm stat
Lists alarm groups currently set.
Alarm list
Displays the list of all alarms, their group IDs and alarm IDs.
Alarm groups
Displays the list of all alarms and their group IDs.
