Call Channels

 

The Call channel memories provide convenient, access to two most used frequency in
the 2M and 440 MHz bands. 

·

The Call Channel memories are programmed in the 'Call Channel' tab of the
Programmer. 

·

These channels are pre-programmed in the radio and while the frequency
can be changed to another frequency within the band, these channels
cannot be left blank.  

Call Channel Editing in Regular Editing Mode: 

The information to be programmed for the Call channels is the same as that for the
regular Memory channels other than Scan Select. See 

Memory Channel Details

 for the

details.
 
To access the Call channels when using the radio, press the CALL/DR Function key to
toggle between VFO/Memory mode and Call Channel Mode.

 Note: If you hold the CALL/DR Function key for 1 second, you will
turn on the DR function and be in DSTAR mode.
