Programming Other Set Menu Items

Twin Peak Filter

  - Check to engage the RTTY twin peak filter.  The twin peak filter

changes the audio frequency response by boosting the mark and space
frequencies for better RTTY reception.  

  
Note:  When RTTY Mark frequency is set to a value other than 2125
Hz and RTTY Shift Width is set to a valye other than 170 Hz the twin
peak filter is automatically turned off and you cannot change the
settings. 

Shift Width

  - Set the RTTY shift frequency.  When the internal RTY decoder is

used, the shift frequency is automatically set to 170Hz. 

Time Stamp (Time)

 - Select local or UTC time format for the log. 

Threshold Level

  - Set the RTTY decoder threshold level. 

RTTY TX Memory

  - Enter messages to be sent automatically with minimal button

presses from the face of the radio.
