Memopad Numbers
- Sets the number of Memo Pad channels. A change here could
cause loss of data saved in the radio.
MIC Up/Down Speed
-
Selects the steps per second when changing an operating
frequency by holding down the mic's [UP]/[DOWN] buttons.
One Touch Repeater
- Set to either the Dup- or Dup+ selection for use with Split
mode.
Rx REC Condition
- Set to either Always or Squelch Auto. When set to Squelch Auto,
the transceiver records audio to a new file when the squelch either opens or closes.
REC Mode
- Set the Record Mode to Transmission and Receive or Receive Only.
RF/SQL Control
- Sets the outer control operation. Set to
Auto: Functions as an RF gain control in the SSB, CW and RTTY modes.
Functions as a squelch control in the AM, FM, DV and DD modes.
SQL - Functions as a squelch control in all modes. Eliminates RF gain
control.
RF+SQL - Functions nor onl as an RF gain control, but also as a squelch
control in all modes.
Skip Time
- Control the radio's performance with Skip channels.
Speech/Lock
- Selection the action of this key to control the options engaged through
a long or short touch of that button. The first option shown is always the push while the
second is the option when the key is held down.
SSB Notch
- set the SSB notch function to Auto, Manual, or Auto/Manual. The notch
function uses DSP to automatically attenuate beat tones, tuning signals, and so on,
even if their frequencies are changing. This eliminates unwanted CW or AM carrier
tones while preserving the desired voice signal.
Time Out Timer
- Sets the time after which continuous transmission will end.
Tuner Switch
- Set the Tuner Switch function to Auto or Manual.
Voice Menu
- Set the Voice Menu function:
Voice-TX - The voice menu appears first when [VOICE] is touched in the
"M2" menu.
Voice- Root - The voice SEND menu appears when [VOICE] is touched in
the "M2" menu.
