Tab. 8-3
Fault codes on the user interface of the indoor module (RKHB) for the ROTEX HeatPumpSolarUnit
E7
Fan blocked Outdoor Module (RRHQ)
A fan in the Outdoor Module (RRHQ) is blocked. Check fan for dirt affecting it, the fan may be defec-
tive.
E9
Electronic expansion valve
The electronic expansion valve on the Outdoor Module (RRHQ) is defective.
EC
Temperature hot water storage tank too
high
The temperature sensor in the hot water storage tank shows a temperature value of >89 °C.
Check that the temperature sensor is showing the correct value. In the Booster Heater (EHS), check
the contactor concerned for a short circuit.
F3
Discharge temperature at heat exchanger
Outdoor Module (RRHQ) too high
The discharge temperature at the heat exchanger of the Outdoor Module (RRHQ) is getting too high
due to a blockage. Remove any possible contamination from the heat exchanger of the Outdoor Mod-
ule (RRHQ). If the fault signal persists, contact a ROTEX service engineer.
H3
Heat pump system
(only with 11-16 kW system)
Internal fault in the heat pump system. Contact ROTEX service engineer.
H9
Temperature sensor Outdoor Module
(RRHQ)
Outside temperature sensor on the Outdoor Module (RRHQ) is defective.
HC
Hot water storage tank temperature sen-
sor
Temperature sensor or connecting cable of temperature sensor for the hot water storage tank is
defective.
