[9] - Target value temperature ranges for room heating and room cooling
1)
With these parameter settings, you can set target value ranges for the room heating temperature and the room cooling temper-
ature
1)
. These settings prevent the user unintentionally setting a water output temperature that is either too high or too low.
The following setting options are available:
– [9-00] Upper limit of the heating target value: Maximum water output temperature during room heating.
– [9-01] Lower limit of the heating target value: Minimum water output temperature during room heating.
– [9-02] Upper limit of the cooling target value: Maximum water output temperature during room cooling
1)
.
– [9-03] Lower limit of the cooling target value: Minimum water output temperature during room cooling
1)
.
1)
The function room cooling is available only for systems of type "HPSU..X".

CAUTION!
If the temperature change in the underfloor heating system is too fast the first time it is switched on, the
concrete floor could crack during heating.
• Set parameter [9-01] to 15 °C for initial start-up.
• After several heating cycles, the lower limit [9-01] must be adapted to the specification of the particular
underfloor heating system.
CAUTION!
If, during room cooling operation
1)
,the lower limit of the cooling target value [9-03] is set below 16 °C,
condensation may occur on the floor and thus cause material damage to the underfloor heating system and
in the area of the floor.
• Never set parameter [9-03] to less than 16 °C.
