FA ROTEX HeatPumpSolarUnit - Part 2 - 05/2009
Setting parameters
A detailed explanation of the parameters, their standard settings and procedure for setting them is described in detail in
Chapter 6.4 "Individual".
• Parameter [9-01]: Lower limit of target heating value
• Parameter [0-00]: Access authorisation
– If necessary the fitter can block certain keys for the user.
• Parameter [1-XX]: Weather-dependent target value regulation
– The ambient temperature target values must be adapted to the outside climate at the installation site.
• Parameter [2-XX]: Legionella protection
– The disinfection parameters may need to be adapted to the country-specific requirements.
• Parameter [3-00]: Automatic Restart
– Make setting as specified by operator.
• Parameter [4-XX]: Operating the reserve heating and switch-off temperature of room heating
– Make setting as specified by operator.
• Parameter [5-XX]: Bivalence temperature and priority temperature of room heating
– Make setting as specified by operator.
• Parameter [6-XX]: Hysteresis (DT) for water heating
– Make setting as specified by operator.
• Parameter [7-00]: Step length for hot water
– Setting depending on the preset target temperature for the Booster Heater (EHS) as specified by the operator.
• Parameter [8-XX]: Configuration of water heating
– Make setting as specified by operator.
• Parameter [9-XX]: Target value temperature ranges for room heating and room cooling
– Make setting as specified by operator.
– Parameter [9-01] must be set to 15 °C.
• Parameter [C-00]: Priority Solar Support (only when ROTEX Solaris system is installed)
– If a ROTEX Solaris system is installed the value may be set to [0].
Set pump speed of circulation pump
5.1.6 Configure wireless room thermostat (accessory)
The wireless connection between the two devices must be configured for communication between the wireless room thermostat
and receiver to work. The configuration must be carried out in accordance with the relevant installation and operating instruc-
tions.
CAUTION!
If the temperature change in the underfloor heating system is too fast the
first time it is switched on, the
concrete floor could crack
during heating.
• Set parameter [9-01] to 15 °C for initial start-up.
• After several heating cycles, the lower limit [9-01] must be adapted to the specification of the particular
underfloor heating system.
• If the running water in the system makes noises, reduce the pump speed
of the circulation pump step by step.
• With a set pump speed, the external static pressure (ESP) must be within
the range of the particular characteristic curve to guarantee an appro-
priate flow rate (see diagram in Chapter 10.2.4 "Characteristic curves for
pumps").
