Cleaningtheinteriorlightingofcookingarea/BBQlightandglasssurfaces
Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, as well as corrosive and strong detergents, for cleaning in order to
avoid scratches and damage! Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and sponge. If necessary, use warm
water with some washing-up liquid and a soft cloth.
CleaningtheFatDripsystem
The grates of the FatDrip system transport dripping oils or greases
from the food away from the heat source to the drain channels
. The drain channels transport the liquids to the drip tray
.
This helps prevent any uncontrolled flames.
You can clean the grates, as well as the drain channel, with a
sponge or in the case of stubborn deposits with a soft stainless
steel wire brush. Then rinse the parts again with clean water and
dry with a cloth. Always dry thoroughly after cleaning. Never store cast parts when wet. Empty the drip
tray
and rinse it, e.g. with a fat solvent.
Removingtheburners
Make sure that the gas grill has cooled down, all control knobs are set to "•" OFF and the gas
cylinder is also turned off. Make sure that all stainless steel main burners are correctly positioned
above the respective nozzle of the gas valve.
1. Close the gas supply.
2. Lift up the grates and the burner covers.
3. Release the Split pin of the burner fastening at the back.
4. Then lift the burner at the back and take it out from the valve by lifting towards the front.
5. Clean the burner as described in the section "Cleaning the main burners".
Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Ensure that the burner jet is at the nozzle!
