Fittingthepressureregulator(dependingontheversionofthepressureregulator)
1. The gas pressure regulator must comply with the current version of standards
EN 16436 or EN 16129, as well as national regulations.
2. In the first step check the gas hose / gas pressure regulator screw fixing is tight
using a spanner and if necessary tighten the screw fixing.
3. Remove the safety cap on the gas cylinder.
4. Insert the tip of the pressure regulator into the valve of the gas cylinder and
turn the union nut
anticlockwise
by hand.
5. Tighten the union nut by hand.
Alternatively, you can use a gas pressure regulator spanner.
Fittingthegashose
A) Attaching the hose connector – for
Germany, Austria and Switzerland
1. Screw the gas hose onto the pipe connector.
2. Make sure that the gas hose is tight and tighten
it if necessary.
3. Once you have fitted and checked the gas
hose / pressure regulator connection to the gas
grill, check the connectors for leaks according to
the section "Leak check".
B) Fitting the hose – for BE, DK, ES, FI, NL, NO, SE, FR, GB, IE, IT, LU
A universal adapter is included in the scope of delivery for connecting the gas hose coming
from the pressure regulator to the hose for the burner.
4. Connect the universal adapter to the ¼" BSP external thread of the pipe connector.
5. Tighten the connection. Use the second spanner for resistance.
6. Use suitable hose clips or crimp clamps to fix the hose to the adaptor and tighten the clips/clamps
securely.
7. Once you have fitted and checked the gas hose / pressure regulator connection to the gas grill, check
the connectors for leaks according to the section "Leak check".
