Licensing the GalaxyDICOM
From the console run the “ifconfig” command and take note of the IP Address.
From a browser access the Web Management Interface using “https”, (
https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/
) replace ‘x’s’ with the IP Address listed in “ifconfig” output.
Login to the GUI with the user name “root” and the password “Galaxy”.
GalaxyDICOM requires a standard HSM v5.1 license file. Select Archive Manager from the
GUI menu to begin licensing the Storage Archive. The Storage Archive License Management
page provides all the information needed to obtain a Demo or Permanent License Key from
Customer Support Personnel.
Please have the following information available when calling or emailing the request for the
license key.
1) Product Type (DICOM Appliance)
2) Hardware Serial Number
3) License Version
4) Host ID
Fill the form out at
http://www.qstar.com/license-key
and an email will be sent back that
contains a license activation key that must be uploaded to the Appliance. Once the file is
received, copy the file to the local machine that has the Appliance web interface open.
Select License Manager, then select Archive Manager and browse to the location the file was
copied to and select the Upload License button.
Running the Installation Script
From the console run the SATAinstallGalaxyDICOM.sh script. The installation script is
required to reset some parameters and clean-up the system and it will ensure that all data
bases are configured properly and all file systems are mounted.
The script queries requiring an answer are shown in
blue
.
The user input is shown in
red.
Note: The system must be licensed or the script will fail.
The example below is for information only and the output may differ.
root@Galaxy:~#
/usr/bin/SATAinstallGalaxyDICOM.sh
