The DICOM Appliance supports hot
swappable hard drives.
Begin the repair process by removing the
hard drive from the unit; this is done by
pushing the lock to the right to unlock the
hard drive and then sliding the drive out of
the unit.
Slide the new drive tray back into the unit
and lock it in place.
Once the hard drive
has been replaced the
GUI will display the
status as Degraded and
Unconfigured.
The Rebuild button will
be Highlighted. In the
Drive Info section the
Make Hotspare button
will be available.
Select the Make
Hotspare button, a
popup window will
appear, select the OK
button.
