Importing or Exporting the ADA media
Importing and exporting the ADA media can be done in two places depending on the
situation. If the media is to be imported/exported with no pending request the
Media/Online Media page is the correct method. If there is a pending request (such as the
copy is complete or request for Offline media) then the GalaxyDICOM/Status page is the
correct method.
Importing or Exporting media from the Online Media page
To import or export the ADA
media, select the check box
for that piece of media, select
the Import or Export button,
and follow the on screen
prompts. In the event the
media shows a status of
‘unknown’ [an indication that
the media is not properly
prepared] it will need to be
prepared by an ‘erase’
process prior to use. NOTE:
do not erase the media
unless you are assured
there is no patient data on
the media.
If the ADA drive is empty
remove the check mark from
the Only Show Shelves with
Media checkbox in the upper
right hand corner of the page.
Place a check in the box for
Shelf 1 and select the Import
button.
