Booster
One or two panels showing the single or dual booster, depending on the type together with the current
voltage and the current consumption for the corresponding track output.
The icons under the panel show the status of the track output concerned:
From left to right: “Track output deactivated“, “Short circuit deactivated“, “Brake generator mode ac-
tive“, ”RailCom
®
active“ (i.e. the RailCom
®
cutout is generated in the track signal).
You access the configuration dialogue of the booster in which the settings are to be changed and the
firmware update be implemented with the “Setup…“ button.
Track voltage & RailCom
®
: accept settings from the control centre automatically via CAN
( =
“Auto-Settings“
, activated as standard).
Should the Z21
®
-Boosters be connected to the control centre via the
CAN-Bus
, the booster can automat-
ically accept the track voltage and RailCom
®
settings from the control centre (”Auto-Settings“). Should
the control centre be unable to detect the settings however, e.g. because the booster is connected via
the B-Bus or the CDE port, then the track voltage and RailCom
®
settings that are stored in the booster
are used.
If necessary, you can deactivate these “Auto-Settings“ by deactivating this option. This enables you to
force a setting of the booster that deviates from that of the control centre (not recommended).
