Appendix C Install and Replace Components
The battery is on the back of the terminals. No special tools are required to
remove the battery cover, but a flat-tip screwdriver may be required to remove
the battery.
WARNING:
When you connect or disconnect the battery an electrical arc can
occur. This could cause an explosion in hazardous location installations. Be sure
that the area is nonhazardous before proceeding.

Do not dispose of battery in a fire or incinerator. Dispose of used batteries in
accordance with local regulations.
