Disassemble Tandem Puck Assembly
1. Remove the tandem puck from the MagneMover LITE transport system (see Replace
Pucks on page 78 ).
2. Place the tandem puck linkage plate installation fixture (shown in Figure 29 ) on a flat
surface.
3. Place the tandem puck in the fixture as shown in Figure 29 .

4. Remove the two screws and washers that secure the linkage plate to the two pucks as
shown in
Figure 29 and dispose of properly.
5. Lift the linkage plate off of the pucks.
6. With both pucks in the fixture, hold the left puck in place and lift the right puck out of
the fixture and away from the left puck.
CAUTION
Strong Magnets
To avoid injury from strong magnetic attractive
forces:
•
Handle only one puck at a time.
• Do not place any body parts, such as fingers,
between the puck and any ferrous material or
another magnet array.
• Pucks not being used must be secured individu-
ally in isolated packaging.
