Mechanical Dock Leveler Hydraulic Conversion
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE
Unit may be mechanically raised. If leveler is
mechanically raised, it will require at least 10
full cycles of the unit after installation to purge
air from the hydraulic system.
Make sure the lifting unit, or
picker crane, is capable of lifting
3,000 lbs.
WARNING
Always use safe work habits. This kit
includes a maintenance strut. Always
use this maintenance strut when
working under the leveler.
WARNING
Be sure to follow these Caution notes when
installing your Mechanical Dock Leveler Hydraulic
Conversion Kit
1. Disconnect electrical power according to
OSHA Lockout/Tagout
standards.
2. DO NOT ground welding equipment to
hydraulic cylinder or electrical components.
DO NOT ground to platform as damage to
equipment may result.
CAUTION
Cover cylinder with flame retardant
covering before welding.
CAUTION
