Mechanical Dock Leveler Hydraulic Conversion
Welding Procedures
Ground welder to front frame angle for
welding strut base or missing anchor loop.
For QC units, tack a small piece of stock
to the pit steel for grounding welding
equipment.

Select the method for installing the
base depending on the type of front
sub-frame and the support that will
be needed to transfer all loading
directly to the pit floor concrete.

PRECAUTIONS
Identify the Safe-T-Strut base type needed
1. Refer to Figure 3 to identify the type of base
required for your leveler structure.
2. Go to the section identified in Figure 3 to assemble
and install the Safe-T-Strut base.
