Maintenance
Front panel disassembly
Disassembly of the side panels
Rinnai recommends inspecting and if necessary cleaning the
heating system once a year.
Maintenance on the boiler must be carried out annually.
If you are not sure of the quality of the water circulating in the
system or the quality of the combustion air, it is recommended
to carry out the first check after 6 months of operation of the
generator, thus determining when it will be the second check
must be carried out.
The maintenance and replacement of the components of the
generator must be carried out by a Rinnai Authorized Center.
The maintenance steps are listed below and must be
performed in the exact order in which they are written.Omit
one or more maintenance steps will adversely affect the
operation and life of your generator and of the entire plant.
•
Clean the front panel with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive
detergent.
•
Clean the heat exchanger.
•
Check the electrodes.
•
Clean the burner with a soft brush and the compressor.
•
Check the quality of the fan rotation.
•
Clean the fan blades.
•
Check the sensors.
•
Clean the condensate trap with a damp cloth.
•
Check the pressure of the expansion vessel and fill it in
case of low pressure.
•
Check for any leaks in the flues.
•
Carry out the smoke analysis and check the quality of the
fuel.
•
Check for leaks in the gas line with a suitable one
instrumentation.
•
Clean the filter.
•
Clean the dirt separator.
•
Check the position of the filter in the neutralizer condensate
and the level of the granulate; if necessary add granulate
respecting the minimum level e maximum.
•
Check the correct functioning of the system checking
sensors, modules, pumps and valves of mixing.
To remove the front panel of the AIM:
1. Unscrew the 2 screws located on the lower part of the front panel.
2. Rotate it slightly forward at the bottom.
CAUTION : Do not lift the front panel excessively, to avoid damaging the panel itself and the pins in the top;
3. Lift the panel so that it comes off the pins.
To remove the side panels of the AIM:
1. Remove the front panel.
2. Unscrew the 2 screws located at the top and bottom on the side of the boiler to be accessed.
3. The side panel can now rotate like a door on the locking pins.
4. Lift the side panel upwards by about 1 cm to remove it from the pins.
5. Remove the side panel.
