Requirements and conditions
The heat requirement of the building must
be calculated according to current legislation
and national and regional regulations where
present.
The installation of an aiM boiler is subject
to the installation of the devices control
and regulation indicated by general and
specific INAIL (INAIL= Italian safety agency)
provisions for Rinnai boilers.
The connection of the boiler to the system
must always be performed interposing
a suitable balancer hydraulic, or a plate
exchanger, for ensure correct water
circulation.
In order to ensure maximum efficiency of
the generator, the flow rate of the primary
circuit must be constant, establishing a leap
temperature between flow and return equal to
20 ° C.
Hydraulic balancer
A properly sized hydraulic balancer must be
installed and positioned to avoid possible
interference between the flow rates of the
heat generator and those of the terminal
circuits (such as radiators, systems radiant
floor, ...).
The low speed of the fluid contained in
the balancer allows the stratification: for
this reason it is necessary that the flow of
the generator and the system are always
positioned at the top.

Plate heat exchanger
As an alternative to the hydraulic balancer,
it is possible to use an exchanger plate
heat appropriately sized. In this case, the
losses load introduced by the exchanger
plate heat and circuits connection must
be lower to the residual head of the pump
circulation of the generator.
RINNAI recommends sizing the plate
exchanger with a leak maximum equal
to 1 m.c.a.
