Circulator anti-blocking
- The circulator activates every 24 hours of stop for 30 seconds.
H - Switching off for lengthy periods
If the boiler is not used for a long time, the following operations must
be carried out:
- Position the mode selector to
(off/reset) (fig. 9).
- Set the system's main switch to "off" (fig. 10).
fig. 9
fig. 10
- Turn off the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic hot
water system.
In this case, the anti-freeze and anti-blocking systems are de-
activated. Drain the heating and domestic water system if there
is any risk of freezing.
I -
Maintenance
Periodic maintenance is essential to the safety, efficiency and life-
time of the boiler. It allows for the reduction of consumption, polluting
emissions and keeping the product reliable over time. Before starting
maintenance operations:
- perform the analysis of the combustion products to check the boiler
operation status then cut the electrical supply by turning off the
system's general switch (fig. 10);
- turn off the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic hot
water system.
After performing the necessary maintenance operations, the
original adjustments must be restored and the combustion
product analysis must be performed to check the correct oper-
ation.
The Technical Assistance Centre is at your disposal if you have
any problems carrying out this procedure.
J - Display and fault codes
When there is an operating fault a blinking code is shown on the
display and the red led comes on in the event of a definitive lockout.
For a description of the faults, refer to the table below.

Resetting the faults
Wait about 10 seconds before resetting normal operation conditions.
Then proceed as follows:
1) Display of the flashing alarm code
If just the blinking alarm is displayed it means that a temporary
stop was diagnosed, if the fault is reset the boiler proceeds with
regular autonomous operation.
If, however, the boiler does not begin regular operations, a defin-
itive lockout can be brought about.
In this case, proceed as described in point 2.
2) Red led comes on and flashing alarm code is displayed
Turn the mode selector to
and reposition it on the desired
position.
If the boiler performs the firing procedure and resumes normal opera-
tion, the stoppage can be attributed to a chance situation.
If the shut-down reoccurs however, you should contact the Technical
Assistance Service.
For AL41 faults
Check the value of the pressure on the hydrometer on the control
panel; if it is less than 0.5 bar proceed as follows:
- position the mode selector to
- fill slowly by opening the filling tap outside the boiler (fig. 32) until
the hand of the hydrometer is between 1 and 1.5 bar (fig. 33)
- reposition the mode selector to the desired position.
If the drop in pressure is frequent, contact the Technical Assistance
Centre.
For fault AL60
The boiler is working normally, but does not provide any stability of
the domestic hot water temperature that, in any event, is supplied at
a temperature of around 50°C.
The intervention of the Technical Assistance Centre is required.
K - Cleaning
The only cleaning operations that we recommend are those involving
the external boiler panels, which should be cleaned using just a cloth
dampened with soap and water.
In the case of stubborn marks, dip the cloth in a mixture of 50% water
and methylated spirits, or use specific products.
Do not use fuels and/or sponges soaked in abrasive solutions
or powder detergents.
It is forbidden to carry out any cleaning operations before dis-
connecting the boiler from the mains electricity supply; to do
this, turn the main system switch to “off”.
