Please keep this user manual in a safe place during lifetime of RockNet products. The us er
manual forms an int egral part of the RockNet system.

Follow all instructions
•
Do not use the RockNet system near water.
•
Clean only with dry cloth.
•
Do not block any ventilation openings and make sure an installation enclosure (e.g. Flight
case) has sufficient cool air flow.
•
Do not install near any heat sources such as stoves, radiators or any devices that produces
heat.
•
Protect the power cord from being walked on, pinched or damaged in any other way.
•
The RockNet network and its devic es may only be used in accordance with the information
provided in this manual. Before and during usage of the RockNet system please ensure that
all recommendations, especially safety recommendations as detailed in this manual are ad-
hered to.
•
Do not place t he RockNet device on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table. This de-
vice may fall, causing serious injury and serious damage to the system itself.
•
Disconnect RockNet devices from mains power when unused for a long period of time.
•
Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when:
o
the power inlet has been damaged
o
liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the RockNet device
o
the device has been drooped or suffered from damage in any other way
o
the device shows a distinct change from its normal function, performanc e or appear-
ance.
•
Reduced Air Flow - Installation of the equipment in a rack should be such that the amount of
air flow required for safe operation of the equipment is not compromised. Confirmed environ-
ment: E1, E2, E3 and E4.
•
Mechanic al Loading - Mounting of the equipment in the rack should be suc h that a hazardous
condition is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading.
•
The 19” devices must be earthed by connecting to a correctly wired and earthed power outlet.
The power cord supplied wit h the device is wired as shown:

Green/Yellow
= Earth
o
Blue
= Neutral
o
Brown
= Live
