Quad Assignment of AES/EBU Device s
The digital I/O devices RN.331. DD, RN.332.DO and RN.333.DI provide an AES/EBU signal per each
single XLR connector.
The Quad number shown in the respective display equals 2 (t wo) Quads since each XLR connector
represents 2 (two) channels.
The channel count is (from left to right):

number 1 (one) and 2 (two) are occupied and the left -hand display would show Quad number

be 3 (three).
If now Quad number 3 (three) would be assigned to the right-hand channels of the RN.333.DI the
