Power-On Self Tests

5.3 POWER-ON SELF TESTS
The controller tests the following devices at power-on. If an error is detected, an error code is
stored in the controller board.

Flash ROM

Resident and optional SDRAM

NIB
ƒ
IEEE 802.11a/g, Gigabit Ethernet or IEEE1284 (if installed)
ƒ
NVRAM
ƒ
Optional HDD (if installed)
To check the error codes, use engine SP 7832.
