1.2.9 CONFIGURING THE PRINTER FOR THE NETWORK
When using the printer in a network environment, you must configure the printer
settings using the printer’s operation panel. The following list is the items you can
set and their default settings.
IP Address 011.022.033.044
Subnet Mask 000.000.000.000
Gateway Address 000.000.000.000
Network Boot None
Frame Type (NW) Auto
Active Protocol TCP/IP
Ethernet Auto
The procedure below shows an example to specify TCP/IP as the active protocol.
1. Press the Menu key. “Menu” appears on the
panel display.

Interface,” and then press the Enter key. The
interface setting menu appears.
3. Start the protocol for use.
