10.2 DRIVE MECHANISM
10.2.1 Fusing Drive
The hot roller is turned by the fusing drive chain as shown. The pressure
roller is friction driven by the hot roller. The fusing rollers turn constantly when
the main motor [A] is on, driven via the gears [B], through feed/fusing drive
belts 1 [C] and 2 [D], the sprockets [E] and the fusing drive chain [F], to the
hot roller sprocket [G].
