Setting to Notify Toner Low
If you have set this NOTIFY TONER LOW menu option to “ON,”
your machine automatically sends a fax to your service company
or the dealer to notify them that your machine requires a new
toner cartridge when the toner cartridge needs to be replaced.
The fax number is preset by your dealer when you bought your
machine.

Press Menu/Exit and then Maintenance from the one-
touch dial keypad.

Use or until “NOTIFY TONER” appears on the bottom
line of the display, and press Mode/Enter.
“NOTIFY TONER LOW” appears on the top line and the
current setting appears on the bottom line.

Press or to change the setting. Select “ON” to enable
this feature, then press Mode/Enter.
Select “OFF” disables this feature.

Enter your fax number, and then press Mode/Enter.

Enter your name of up to 20 digits, and then press Mode/
Enter.

Enter the service company’s phone number to which your
machine sends the fax message to notify Toner Low, and
then press Mode/Enter.

Enter the serial number of your machine, and then press
Mode/Enter.
