Making Connections

1

Connect the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) cord to this 
port and fasten the side screws.

OTE

: 

Without connecting the cord to the port, you cannot use 

the ADF.

Connect the telephone line to the LINE jack and the other 
end to the wall jack.

If you want to use your machine for receiving both faxes 
and voice calls, you will need to connect a telephone and/or 
answering machine to your machine.
