I.1 

DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE

UTNC-EV is a Box-t ype air handling t erminal unit , t o be inst alled i n f alse 
ceilings, with air flow  and retur n directl y i nto the room.

DECLARED CONDI TIONS OF USE 

UTNC-EV is a fan coil int ended f or the treat ment of air (summer and 
wint er air-conditi oning) inside buildings us ed f or domestic or si milar 
purpos es. T he unit is not designed for ins tallation in rooms us ed for 
laundry purposes  (IEC EN 60335- 2-40 Standard). 

The units c omply wit h t he  following Directi ves: 
- Machiner y Directi ve 2006/ 42/ EC (MD); 
- Low Voltage Directi ve 2006/95/EC (LVD); 
- Electromagnetic C ompati bility Directi ve 2004/108/ EC (EMC);

The mach ine i s designed for indoor  install ation 
only,  for use in dom estic or simil ar environments.

The unit  will function  correctl y onl y if the 
instructions for use ar e  scrupulousl y follo wed, if 
the specified clearan ces ar e comp lied with during 
install ation and if the functioning r estriction s 
indicated in this m anual are strictl y adh ered to.

If clearan ce di stances are not maintain ed at 
install ation, it could cau se m aintenan ce difficu lties 
and reduction in p erformance. 

I.1.2 MACHINE 

IDENTIFICATION 

The units have a s erial number plate af fixed to the inside, which is 
visible by removi ng the air filter. 

 

I.1.3 STRUCTURAL 

FEATURES 

  The self-s upporting struct ure is made of gal vanised sheet s teel 

complete wit h a device t hat  raises the condensate fr om the tray to t he 
drain level tray,  a  buff er ceiling  with  manually  adj ustable fl ow fins, r eturn 
grid and regenerable filt er. 

  Finned coil heat  exc hanger.

Installing the machine in  an explosive environment 
is prohibited.

In the case of a  water  suppl y  with a parti cular l y high 
content of hard water  salts, it is advisabl e to fit a 
water softener.
