DRIVELINE ATTACHMENT
Before starting assembly, make certain that all
paint, dirt, and grease are removed from gearbox
shaft (1). To ease assembly apply a light coat of
grease to splines and assemble. Do not
assemble a driveline without a shield.

Attach the slip clutch end of the driveline to the
gearbox input shaft securely. Make certain that
the slip clutch is fully onto the input shaft splines.
Tighten the locknuts (2) alternately until they
have reached the proper torque. Refer to Torque
Chart in Maintenance Section. )
SHIELD ASSEMBLY - SIDE DRIVES - LIFT, PULL AND SEMI
1. Attach Drive Shield Support (2) to Divider
Gearbox using 5/16” x 1” Hex Bolts (12), 5/
16” Lockwasher (13), and 5/16” Flatwasher
(14) as shown.
2. Use M8 x 20mm Hex Head Flange Bolts (3)
to attach Hinge Mount Bracket (4) to Gearbox
(10).
3. Slide Brackets (5) and (6) onto Hinge Mount
Bracket (4) as shown.
4. Use 3/8” x 3/4” Carriage Bolts (8), 3/8”
Flatwashers (9), and 3/8” Acorn Nuts (10) to
attach Driveline Shield (7) to Brackets (5&6).
Leave bolts loose.
5. Using the hole closest to the hinge, attach
Latch (11) to Driveline Shield (7), then close
and latch Driveline Shield (7) against Drive
Shield Support (2).
6. Tighten 3/8” x 3/4
“ Carriage Bolts (8) and Acorn Nuts. (10).
SHIELD ASSEMBLY - Main Input - Lift and Semi
Use 5/16” x 1” Hex Bolts (2), 5/16” Lockwashers
(3), and 5/16” Flatwashers (4) to attach Driveline
Shield Assembly (1) to Divider Gearbox (5) as
shown.
