Recommended maintenance schedule
The ResMed VPAP III series of flow generators are designed to give years of trouble-free
operation. The filter strip should be replaced at least every six months, and regular cleaning
recommendations are given in the section, “
Cleaning and maintenance”
of the User Manual. All of
these procedures can be carried out by the owner, so no regular servicing by a service agent is
required.
The HumidAire 2i should be regularly cleaned, according to the recommendations in the section
"
Cleaning and maintenance"
of the User Manual.
Some countries require all medical equipment to have a periodic service to confirm that the
equipment is in good working order.
Section 3 General inspection and servicing
may be used
in this situation.
