h) Pitch Curve Setting „PIT CURV“
Just as for the throttle curve, you can also change the linear control function specifically in 5 points (L, 1, 2, 3, and H)
and thus individually adjust it to your control habits or your requirements to the pitch curve. The setting of the pitch
curve can be made separately for each flight condition („NOR“ = normal, „IDLE1“ and „IDLE2“, as well as for the
throttle switch „TH HOLD“). Thus, you are able to specify the angle of attack of the main rotor blades for the respective
pitch stick position for hover flight, round flight or aerobatics.
Proceed as follows to set the pitch curve:
• Call the function settings menu.
• Select the menu item „PIT CURV“ with the buttons „UP“ or
„DOWN“.
• Activate the menu item with the button „SELECT“.
The display shows the pitch curve for the flight condition
„NOR“ (= normal).
• Pushing the buttons „INC (+)“ or „DEC (-)“ permits changing
the lowest value of the pitch curve „L“. In parallel to this, the
control curve in the right chart changes. The two values „I“
and „O“ show the input value (position of the pitch control
stick) and the output value by the deformed pitch curve.
• Pushing the button „CLEAR“ will call the set value specified
ex works again.
• The setting is saved automatically.
• Push the button „SELECT“ to select the next point on the
pitch curve (1). The position of points 1, 2 and 3 is indicated
by a dashed line.
• Pushing the buttons „INC (+)“ or „DEC (-)“ permits changing
this value of the pitch curve and tracking the change in the
figure.
• Then switch to point 2 with the button „SELECT“ and set the
required value there as well.
• Repeat the process until you have set all 5 points on the
throttle curve for the flight condition „NOR“.
