The vehicle has two battery holders to the left and right of
it for the two drive batteries.
Loosen the two hook-and-loop straps (A) on the battery
holder.
Then insert the drive battery into the battery holder (B) so
that the connection cables point to the front.
Pull the two hook-and-loop straps (A) tight so that the drive
battery is firmly held in place and fasten the hook-and-loop
strap.
e) Connecting the drive battery to the speed controller
Place the model vehicle on a suitable base (or a start box) so that the wheels can move freely in the event
of a failure. This ensures that you will not lose control of the vehicle if the wheels move suddenly (e.g. if the
drive trim is not set correctly).
Do not reach into the drive. Do not hold the wheels.
Switch off the speed controller first (move the switch to the
"OFF" position).
The setup button (B) is located next to the on/off switch
(A). This button can be used to programme the speed con-
troller (see section 10).
If you have not already done so, power up the transmitter
as described in section 9. b) and c).
Now connect the two drive batteries to the speed control-
ler. Ensure that the battery is inserted with the correct
polarity (red cable = po, black cable = negative/-).
The assignment of the connector plugs to the drive bat-
teries is irrelevant.
Caution!
Since the two battery connections are connected in parallel, it is essential to ensure that the connection
contacts of the second connector (which is not yet connected to a drive battery) do not cause a short circuit
when connecting the first drive battery. Otherwise, this can lead to explosion of the drive battery or fire.
To prevent sudden start-up of the wheels and therefore uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the drive trim is
maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable base (or start box), so that the wheels can turn freely in case of
a failure.
Do not use force when plugging the rechargeable battery into the speed controller. Make sure that the cable cannot
get into the vehicle's drive or into the steering mechanism. If necessary, use cable ties to fasten the cables.
