Gybe inhibit
With gybe inhibit disabled:
•
You will be able to perform an AutoTack into the wind
•
The autopilot will not perform an AutoTack away from the wind, to prevent acci-
dental gybes
With gybe inhibit enabled, you can perform an AutoTack into or away from the wind.
To set Gybe inhibit:
1. With the
Sailboat settings
menu displayed, use the
Preliminary procedure
above
to display the
Gybe inhibit
page.
2. Scroll to the required setting.
3. Press
OK
to save the setting and return to the
Drive settings
menu.
Wind type
Note:
Only available if wind data is available.
Use the Wind type page to determine whether the boat steers to apparent or true wind
in Wind Vane mode. To do this:
1. With the
Sailboat settings
menu displayed, use the
Preliminary procedure
above
to display the
Wind type
page.
2. Scroll to select either
True
or
Apparent
as required.
3. Press
OK
to save the setting and return to the
Drive settings
menu.
WindTrim response
WindTrim response determines how quickly the autopilot responds to changes in the
wind direction. Higher response settings make the autopilot more responsive to wind
changes.
The values are:
•
1
to
3
- Least responsive to wind changes, therefore less autopilot activity.
•
4
to
6
- Moderate response to wind changes
•
7
to
9
- Most responsive to wind changes, therefore more autopilot activity.
To set the WindTrim response:
1. With the
Sailboat settings
menu displayed, use the
Preliminary procedure
above
to display the
WindTrim response
page.
2. Scroll to the required setting.
3. Press
OK
to save the setting and return to the
Drive settings
menu.
Setting up fishing patterns
Fishing patterns are available on Power and Fishing Boat vessel types. You can
change the parameters of any fishing pattern to obtain the coverage you want.

For each pattern, you can set the direction of travel
