4. Thread two 5/16” nuts (not supplied) onto a 5/16” bolt (not supplied) to make a gauge tool.
The gauge tool will be used to help align the sensor bracket and ensure the sensor body is mounted properly
on the pump head.
5. Insert the gauge tool into the recess in the pump head to the right side of the sensor bracket as shown in
Figure 5 below.

6. Tighten the two allen head screws to secure the sensor bracket.
NOTE: Leave the gauge tool in place to ensure that the sensor bracket stays properly aligned during the rest
of the process. The gauge tool may be removed once the sensor lock nut is tightened.
7. Thread the new flow monitor sensor into the pump head until the sensor body contacts the pump head.
8. Tighten the sensor assembly a partial turn until the line on the flow monitor sensor is near vertical and the LED
is on the left side of the line. Do not overtighten.
FLOW MONITOR SWITCH ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
9. Set the hand valves for the system to recirculate product to the chemical tank and prime and calibrate the
pump.
10. Run the injection pump at the lowest injection rate within tolerance for the pump (i.e. 1 oz./min. for
1-40 oz./min. pumps or 5 oz. for 5-200 oz./min. pumps).
