into bearings, causing undue wear. They may also contact
persons in the area causing personal injury.
MONTHLY:

Lubricate the Cross Feed Assembly by pumping
grease into the fitting until it will not accept any more
grease.
NOTE:
IN HIGH VOLUME APPLICATIONS
LUBRICATE THE CROSS FEED ON A
WEEKLY BASIS

Check all screws and fasteners, tighten as needed.
ANNUALLY:
Change the Lubricant in the housing.
NOTE:
Ensure that the lathe is free of chips and
any metal shavings before opening the Oil
Fill / Breather Cap.
1. Place an oil catch container below the Oil Drain Plug.
2. Remove the Oil Drain Plug with an Allen Wrench
3. Drain oil into appropriate container and dispose of or
recycle in accordance with local environmental
provisions.
4. Replace the Drain Plug and tighten.
5. Remove the Oil Fill / Breather Cap.
6. Fill the housing with 80/90W gear oil until the oil
is approximately 3/4 full when viewed on the Oil Sight
Glass.
